Went here with my dad for his 80th birthday. Food was out fast, and salad bar was pretty good. I had the veal parm , it was a 9 in flavor and a 10 in size. The only negative would be the garlic bread, it was a slice of white bread.

Loved the food especially considering it was only $8! I got the dinner spaghetti. Also the salad bar was extremely fresh as well! Overall good place to eat! Only reason why I didn't give a five star is because I tend to save five stars only for amazing restaurants lol

I guess I am not used to a flat screen TV being displayed to pump out CNN at 7:00 A.M while eating breakfast...kind of distracting to me, but others customers did not seem to mind. Then again there was no conversation, just TV watchin' and intense "fork to mouth food shoveling! OK, enough said. A convenient stop off I-88 for breakfast. Been several times because of that aspect...and the breakfast fare is good and consistent. (The TV thing is just wrong for this venue...just sayin'.) Rib-Eye steak & eggs under 10 bucks! Tasty and a good value for quality and quantity. Country fried steak with biscuit gravy...better than most & served piping hot! Gazi's Restaurant is a former chain food establishment...with an extensive face lift. Not bad ...or good? Look it over and figure it out. All and All GOOD breakfast choice for this area!

My wife and I were driving through the area in the middle of a horrible winter storm, and I needed to get off of the road for a needed break from the 30mph road conditions on I-88. This place was a great surprise... Service was good, the dining area was clean, and the food was much better than I had expected. The salad bar was great, The croutons were so good that next time I am going to fill my pockets before leaving. Forgot which soup I had, but it was also good. I ordered the chicken/spaghetti plate. It was around $8 and consisted of a good portion of spaghetti and two pieces of fried chicken. I am not a big fan of restaurant spaghetti, most places simply don't have good sauce. This was very good. I was so full from the salad bar that I got though half of my spaghetti and then couldn't touch my chicken. I took the chicken home and ate later that night and it was excellent. My wife had the open face turkey sandwich which was an unusual order for her. She liked it very much and was also very happy with the salad bar. I would normally save a five star rating for a more upscale restaurant, but everything we ate was so good, and the price was very fair. The next time I am passing through the area I hope to plan things out so we will be hungry around the rock falls exit off of I-88. I also plan to steal some of those croutons if possible.

Great food, with a large menu that is full of traditional american food and an Italian flair. You get great portions with what you order and the soup and salad bar is great all for very reasonable prices. I went with my wife, our 16 month old son and my parents. I had the meatloaf while my wife and dad were impressed with the fetucini alfredo and mom enjoyed the meat ravioli. My parents were impressed with the over 60 senior menu that included the entree, soup and salad bar and ice cream... Our total bill for four adults for dinner totaled $31... Highly recommended!!!

Ate here while in Rock Falls recently. It's nothing spectacular but the price is right. The food was good, cooked as I ordered it and the waitress was on top of everything. I wasn't the biggest fan of the pancakes as I didn't find them as sweet as other places. I can't say it's better than average until I try it a few more times in the future. But I CAN say it is acceptable and not a place to avoid.

I've eaten here twice now during trips home to Chicago. It's not too far off of I-88 at the Rock Falls/Sterling exit. It's a typical "Family Style" restaurant that's inexpensive and quick, but still sit down. The service is fast and everyone is very nice. The food is also good. I found it on accident the first time and made a point to come back during my next drive. I would recommend it to anyone that lives in the area or is passing through and wants a good, hot meal. Get off at exit 41 (SR 40) and head north into town, it's going to be on the right hand side of the road.
